Is it true that, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cures"?

Because the U.S. military is preventing the extremist minorities in iraq from taking control of the government right now.

If what we are doing in Iraq is "the ounce of prevention", can anyone imagine what the "pound of cures" would be if we don't prevent that?

Imagine the insurgents with the finance revenues that the oil fields in iraq will bring in.

Is it true that, "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cures"?
er... that is your opinion... which you can not prove...

do Republcians have anything besides their propaganda in this war?

defense intell estimates that there are approxiately 30,000 "insurgents" in Iraq... most are native Iraqis...

are 30,000 going to take over a country of 26 million?

Reply:how can 30k control a country?

it would be like us invading Israel because of the Palestinians... Report It

Reply:prevention worked real well for the bubonic pleague, No but cures work within a week. Same story with leaprosy. Cures are allot cheaper all around than prevention.
