My friend has decided to build a house and wants it to be safe. I need to advise him or her on at least 5 crime prevention strategies.
1. increase effort needed to comit crime(ex; unbreakable windows, brighter lights)
2. reduce rewards of crime (ex; making car radios removeable from vehicle)
3.induce guilt(publishing the names of those arrested or commiting a crime)
4. Removing excuses(ex; dont leave your ipod outside b/c someone may pick it up and say they didnt know it was yours)
5. crime discouragers (ex; neighborhood watches)
