Does anyone know about how much a Loss Prevention Manager for a Kohl's Department store makes? Iam applying for a position like this and I wanted to know ahead of time.
How much to Kohl's Loss Prevention Managers earn?
If you are looking at the Loss Prevention Supervisor job, you can expect to start out around $11.50-$13.00 per hour depending on experience and education.
Kohl's Loss Prevention Managers are salaried and usually start between 32,000 and 35,000. From what I saw, Kohl's usually hires almost all their LPMs from their staff of Supervisors. It's really rare for them to hire an LPM from outside the company.
Managers have their own store to run as well as overseeing another 3-5 stores that have Supervisors. The real money comes at their District level. DLPMs make about 60,000 per year and oversee usually a minimum of 12 stores staffed with LPMs, Supervisors and officers.
Kohl's is a wonderful company to work for. If you don't get the LPM job, take a Supervisor position. With all the growth happening right now, there are plenty of LPM jobs to be had with the company.
Reply:Call a local Kohl's. Ask to speak with their Loss Prevention Manager. Tell the manager you are the IRS...just kidding...tell the manager you are applying for the same position. Be very friendly and ask them if they would be so kind as to tell you how much they are making and what they started off making.
