Can you please asnwer it with information from the internet and not from your imaginations. Or can you send me a good website with this information.
What prevention are available now in the future for earthquakes?
By preventation, presumably you mean preventing large death tolls rather than actually stopping the earthquake itself. You can break it down to two concepts; predicting the presence of an earthquake to warn locals and minimising the effect of one.
Predicting where one might occur is easy; its when that is the difficult question. Many earthquakes occur cyclicly, e.g. as an oceanic plate subducts at a steady rate, the continental plate stresses until it releases the tension in an earthquake. All you have to do is look in recorded history to see how often they occur. Alternatively you can see how much stress is accumulating.
Minimising earthquakes can be very effective; an earthquake in urban california killed 60 whereas one *of the same magnitude* killed 40000 in Bam, Iran. The solution is in seismic isolators that buildings are built on top of; movement occurs here rather than being magnified as it travels up the building. A little local knowledge goes a long way; rather stupidly in Tehran, Iran, where major earthquakes occur every few hundred years, they have just built a new hospital and monument... right on top of a fault.
Reply:Earth quack zones can be predicted but earth quacks can not be prevented.Your question relates to preventive measures as part of a disaster management in earth quack prone areas, I hope.
