Prevention help?

My sister is ill with contagious pneumonia, and I have been taking care of her today. What measures can I take to make sure I don't catch the same illness she has?

Prevention help?
1. WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY

2.Wear a surgical mask when you are with your sister

3. Wash all clothing and bedding used in hot soapy water

4. Make sure she has a bag to place any used tissues (do not touch the tissues yourself have her place them in the bag herself fold the top down double bag if posssible you may use disposable gloves to do this then wash your hands even if you wear gloves)

5. Take Vitamin C

6. Drink plenty of fluids yourself

7. LOOK AFTER YOURSELF FIRST
Reply:take Vitamin C at the first sign of a cold, and ask her to cough into her arm, not her hands. Wash your hands frequently, and eat healthy and exercise.

Hope your sister feels better.
Reply:Hi Krissy,

In addition to the advice Nicole has given you could wear a surgical mask when in the room with her. It may make you feel awkward because she is your sister, but it could make the difference.
