What do you think is more important and why?
Prevention vs Cure?
Cure, because then ou wouldn't need prevention. Nuff Said
Reply:Prevention if you see it comin or you will have to rely on the cure.
Reply:a cure . your doctor will not give you an antibiotic for something you dont have yet. People need a cure for Aids ,cancer diabetes,and so on ...If you dont have those things you couldnt take something for them.But I kinda see what you mean like we get tetnas shots and mmr and polio when we were younger .But those were outbreaks that killed people and the shots worked,so Its a thought if you can find what works .
Reply:Prevention.
The damage done after an administered cure may be irreversible.
Reply:Prevention is more important. Surely you've heard that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. It's true. Consider the normal things like colds or headache. If you could prevent the illness in the first place, wouldn't you? The best cure doesn't take away how icky you felt, and knowing you are going to be better isn't worth as much as never feeling bad in the first place. That's how I feel.
Often preventions are easier than cures as well. It may not seem like it, since some preventions are to be done daily, putting on sun block, for example. The alternative though is dealing with healing the burned skin and ridding of the pain, lotions, cold baths, pain pills, etc.
There is also the consideration that some cures have side effects that could as bad as the disease or illness. You also have some cures that aren't guaranteed, and there are some things that don't have a cure. Look at cancer or AIDS. If cancer runs in your family, wouldn't you prefer to prevent yourself from developing it, rather than getting and surviving it? If you do something that give you risk in becoming HIV positive, wouldn't you prevent it? I know I would.
Reply:If we are talking about AIDS I would say prevention. The deadliest part about AIDS/HIV is that it is so wide spread. If it could be contained, a few people would die off and the problem would be resolved. It would be bests if HIV caused instant death, that way the carriers wouldn’t have time to infect others. Prolonging the carrier’s life only increase the number infected.
Reply:Prevention. It's cheaper and less labor intensive. You can either take a zinc pill and wash your hands, or you can go to your doctor, take an anti-biotic that won't make any difference %26amp; actually cause more disease, spend $100 bucks on it, and stay in bed miserable for three days. The choice is yours.
Reply:Prevention..if you could prevent, you wouldn't need a cure..not smoking {prevention} beats surg for lung cancer {cure}
Reply:Prevention. because or the mere definition of the word
