What is the treatment and prevention for small pox?

There is no treatment, but there is a vaccine. All countries stopped giving smallpox vaccines after 1980 because it was officially declared irraticated in 1980; the last known case was in 1977

What is the treatment and prevention for small pox?
There is no treatment, there is a vaccination. The US quit giving it in the early 70's since it had been eradicated here.
Reply:As a virus, there is no treatment. Just support the patient and keep her/him hydrated and clean.





Prevention is easy, there is a vaccine. In fact, it was the first vaccine ever invented!

Reply:It has been eradicated from the world in about 1976. There was a vaccine for prevention. There was no treatment.
