one of my friends have a liver condition (hep) and can't use pills or any other birth controls as advised per doctors. She hates condoms also. I was at a drug store the other day and saw a product called ortho conceptrol gel that prevents against pregnancy without condom. Does it actually work? if so what's the success rate for it?

my husband and i used spericide foam for 3 years with no accidents,til we decided to try for our next baby . we just made sure we never forgot to use it. that is what my doctor recommended cuz i dont want to use hormone pills

the only bad thing about it is that it is kinda messy feeling.
