Take Echinea - liquid is best - every day. Its a natural way to ward off colds etc.
Reply:seven seas-cod liver oil is the best.....but it doesn't taste so good. :(
Reply:You could try taking echinacea and garlic tablets, they boost your immune system and are pretty cheap over the counter at most chemist shops.
Reply:I've head sugar devastates the immune system. It'd probably be good to stay away from really sugary things.
Reply:Eat lots of garlic as it boosts the immune system. Also, have plenty vitamin C.

Reply:You can't always avoid getting a cold or a virus but here are a few preventative measures.

1. Get the flu shot.

2. Carry hand sanitizer with you and use it after shaking hands with someone or touching a doorknob, etc.

3. If you take public transit, wear gloves so your skin won't contact the poles or hand-holds. Wash the gloves often in hot water.

4. Wash your hands frequently. You might need some form of moisturizing cream so the skin won't dry out.

5. If you can, keep your distance from someone whom you know is sick and don't touch anything they have touched.
Reply:You need to practice good hygiene, then. That's how you are getting the germs that cause the colds/cough.

You have to wash your hands many times a day. Hot water (as hot as you can stand) and soap. You should be able to sing "Happy Birthday"...twice. Then your hands are clean. Don't touch your nose, eyes or ears with your dirty hands. In fact-best just to keep your hands from your head always.
Reply:chicken soup...
Reply:keep ur self covered and don't walk bare footed

At the first sign of a cold (tickly nose, sneezing) take REDOXON

Available over the counter from any chemist or Boots.

I take this and 90% of the time the cold doesn't come out.

Redoxon is a massive dose of Vitamin C and zinc. Believe me it does work. It will also help you feel better if you're just feeling generally under the weather.

Also wash your hands on a regular basis as this is how most colds are passed on.
