Prevention of ectopic pregnancy?

you can't prevent anything going wrong like ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage. It is just nature.

Prevention of ectopic pregnancy?
Can't really. Sometimes it just happens. And statistics say that it's more likely to happen in the first 10 years after you have a tubuligation (sp?). But, either way, not much you can do to prevent it. Rest assured, it is rare though.

Good luck!
Reply:Unfortunately there is no prevention.

Here is a site that I think you need to look at. There is no way to prevent them but here are some ideas that may help... it is on the site that I gave you:

Prevention

You can't prevent an ectopic pregnancy — but you can decrease certain risk factors. For example, limiting your number of sexual partners and using a condom when you have sex can help prevent sexually transmitted diseases and reduce the risk of pelvic inflammatory disease.

If you've had an ectopic pregnancy, talk to your health care provider before conceiving again. When you become pregnant, he or she will carefully monitor your condition to make sure your pregnancy is progressing normally.
Reply:One of the many risk factors is sexually transmitted disease leading to Pelvic Inflammatory disease. protecting oneself from those, is the only prevention I am aware of.

However, if for some reason you were at risk for ectopic pregnancies ie you have had one, I would ask for early ultrasounds (4, 5, 6 weeks) to see where implantation occured.

Remember ectopic means the egg implanted outside the uterus.
Reply:you cant really prevent it. its just 1 of those things in nature that you have no control over.
