My 3rd grade sister was diagnosed with head lice just yesterday. I think she has had it for a while considering we found a bug in her brush a week ago and thought nothing of it.
Anyways, I'm 18 and share a room with her. Not only this, she wears my t-shirts all the time. Thankfully, I was just checked yesterday and did not have any lice. How can I prevent myself from not getting it. I have been so paranoid about it.
Prevention from head lice?
i put a few drops of tea tree oil into my shampoo when i am around this situation .
Reply:Well you can not prevent it, like you're always at risk no matter what. But if you shower daily, and brush your hair, maybe even cut it a little then you can be at a lower risk of getting it, and you have to use speical shampoo to get rid of it too FYI
Reply:Just stay away. Lice have nothing to do with the person being dirty, like a lot of people think. if you get close enought, they will jump over. You have to steralize everything that she has and possibly throw things away.
Reply:Lice like clean hair. If you don't use hair products like gels, pomades and sprays you may want to.
