Alcohol, Drug, and Tobacco prevention for children?
Parents need to get involved in their children's life. I'm not talking about 24 hour supervision, but know what they are doing, who they are seeing, where they are going, and what time they will be home. Parents also need to make sure they are open minded and don't "explode" at everything their children do. Let them know they can talk to you about issues.

Children also need to be educated about what the effects of these items are. Let them know it is OK to drink in moderation when their bodies are done growing, but now is too soon. Drugs are illegal for a reason. And tobacco will kill you. hey also need to know that if they do drink or do drugs, they don't get behind the wheel of a car.

Will all this solve the problem? No. There will always be some teens that are too rebellious and will not listen. But it will help out greatly reduce the number of incidents.
